    Chainlink Labs

Blockchain Engineer / Builder, 12.2024 to 05.2025, Remote

I worked with Chainlink Labs on CCIP. Part of that was conformance testing for CCIP and ERC-677 across smart contract deployments that SWIFT was evaluating. The other part was execution infrastructure for cross-chain prediction markets, which ended up carrying a lot of volume. Since then I have kept building on the Chainlink Runtime Environment, CRE and CRE 2.0, for the workflow side of oracle work.

    Detail

    • Role: Blockchain Engineer / Builder
    • Deployments: 15+ smart contracts
    • Counterparties: SWIFT
    • Daily volume served: $153M+
    • Daily users served: 2M+
    • Standards: CCIP, CRE, CRE 2.0, ERC-677 transferAndCall

    On the record

    • Built oracle infrastructure using Chainlink CCIP (cross-chain tokenization standard) and ERC-677 transferAndCall, testing standards conformance and compliance across 15+ smart contract deployments for SWIFT.
    • Built cross-chain prediction market oracle execution infrastructure powering $153M+ in trades daily for 2M+ unique daily users.
    • Built on Chainlink CRE and CRE 2.0 for workflow-based oracle infrastructure: risk monitors, market settlers, safeguard triggers, and private-computation workflows.

    Measured

    • Daily prediction market volume served: $153M+ (2024-25)
    • Unique daily users served: 2M+ (2024-25)
    • Smart contract deployments tested: 15+ (2024-25)

    Connects to

    • Decentralized Exchange Platform. The DEX is what got me into on-chain infrastructure. Chainlink Labs was the next step.
    • Gether. The oracle pricing Gether relies on is the same kind of infrastructure I built with Chainlink Labs.
    • Democratized Access. The prediction market infrastructure served about two million people a day who would not otherwise have had those markets.
    • Oracles & Cross-Chain. The job was building oracle infrastructure.
    • Payments. The SWIFT work was about moving tokenized value between banks, which is a payment problem.
    • Stablecoins & Rails. Cross-chain token transfer standards are what stablecoins move on.
    • Chainlink CCIP. CCIP conformance for SWIFT and the prediction-market execution infrastructure were the Chainlink Labs work.
    • Chainlink CRE. Built on after the Chainlink Labs work, with what I learned there.
    • Chainlink CRE 2.0. The runtime the later oracle work moved onto.
    • Chainlink Fulcrum. Built on the stack I worked with at Chainlink Labs.
    • Solidity. The conformance testing was against Solidity contracts.
